Hellooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Thanks sooooooooooo much for visiting my Just Giving Site. Anyone who knows me a little or a lot knows just how much swimming means to me; inside or outside, up creek, down stream, in a vast ocean blue or battling the infestations lurking at the bottom of the local pool; I just can't resist a dip.

I recently discovered just how much the RNLI  do, here's some fasinating facts to get your fins into:

It costs £1000 to train a RNLI lifeguard (that's a lot of fundrasing)

on the average summer day RNLI lifeguards deal with 40-60 incidents

in 2006 alone they launched 8377 lifeboats rescuing 8015 people, that's a pretty amazing feat! 

and I for one find their continaual work amazingly ressuring when I'm jumping in and out of waves along the British coastline.  So, for this reason, or simply as a harp back to collecting milk bottle tops for Blue Peter's RNLI campaign when you were young (you know you did!), I'd like to ask for your support.

I will be swimming the Great North Swim on Sunday 13th Septmeber at Windermere with many other swimmers wading out to raise awareness of their chosen charity.
