Bath Half Marathon 2016 · 13 March 2016 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I am running Bath half marathon to raise money for the MS society, a charity close to my heart. In June 2010 my sister Becky was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a neurological condition. Once diagnosed MS stays with you for life, but treatments can help people with MS manage the condition. Until a cure is found the MS society will continue to fund research to make sure people with MS have the treatments and services they need.

Becky has been incredibly strong and is an inspiration!! It’s been a tough journey but we are extremely proud of her determination and positive attitude. Her symptoms include; migraines, difficulty processing information, loss of sight, fizzy legs and general fatigue. It breaks my heart to see her suffer.

Everyone who knows me will know that running a half marathon will be a big challenge, I’ve never entered a race before let alone ran that sort of distance! So please dig deep and help me raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity and help beat MS!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Love Cat xx
