Thankyou for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page......the purpose of which is to raise as much money as possible for a much needed new Children's Ward at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. Facilities will be improved, equipment purchased, wards made children friendly and family support measures taken. It will be a first class facility to help kids of all ages get better and one which the public will be proud of supporting.

To raise awareness of this charity and the appeal I will be aiming to complete the New York Marathon on 6th November 2011. Training to date has been going well but I certainly do not relish the thought of spending so long on my feet!

I have had the privelege of working closely with the Archie Foundation for the last few months and it has been a revelation.They are the prominent children's charity in the North of Scotland dedicated to supporting the highest possible healthcare to all children. I firmly believe that a new Children's Ward in Inverness would make such a difference to so many people living in the Highlands and that is why I am committed to working hard for the charity until we reach our set target of £1 million. I am sure we all know somebody who has been directly or indirectly affected by the Childrens Ward in Inverness and therefore please give generously and help us reach our target.
