Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well I did it! It was a bit hilly and wet under foot but managed quite well. Big thanks to Lauren and Jayne who brought Dippy dog along - Lauren and Dippy collected £23.66 from the customers and staff at the Kings Arms in Haworth after the walk. Just another thank you to all those who sponsored me - I still have a few IOU's to collect so I am hoping I hit the £250 mark. Having worked with people with Parkinson's and their families and carers now for over twelve months I am keen to help to raise as much money as I can for research to find a cure. I have met some extraordinary people who do not let Parkinson's 'rule' their lives - carers and families who support their loved ones tirelessly and like all who work for or alongside Parkinsons UK we are looking forward to the day when we find a cure.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

THANK YOU
