On 3rd September 2020 we are inviting as many Unilever employees as possible to re-create last year's hugely successful charity walk in remembrance of Renée Metroka, who unfortunately passed due to a rare eye cancer. Renée was an inspiration for so many across Unilever, with her never give up attitude and positive outlook on life. We are challenging YOU to walk either a ½ marathon or a full marathon (30,000 or 60,000 steps), on a route of your choice. This is an incredible opportunity to get the whole of Unilever UK&I walking ‘virtually’ together, whilst raising money for an incredible cause - Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group. The money we raise this year will go towards funding a PhD student who will concentrate on better understanding this disease when its spreads to the liver, in order to improve current therapy. Each donation will truly make a difference.
