Andrew Millington's Cateran Walk · 21 April 2023
In 2003 and only a few weeks before my wife and I were married, her father died following a long battle with myeloma.
Nearly 20 years later, there are many more treatment options available which makes for a much more positive prognosis, and Myeloma UK are doing great work towards finding even more treatment options and perhaps some day, a cure.
I’m joining the team who are walking the 65-mile Cateran Trail in the Scottish Highlands over 3 days in April. I’m doing this in support of Myeloma UK, both in memory of George, my late father-in-law, and Andrew Millington, who also has Myeloma and is doing well now thanks to many months of gruelling chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant (delivered with the amazing support of NHS Scotland). You can find out more about Andrew’s story on the team fundraising page.
In the meantime, I’d be thrilled if you could make a donation below to support me in supporting Myeloma UK. Many thanks!
