DAFFODIL DAY HIKE.

SLIEVE DONARD CLIMB, 10 AM - Friday 23rd March.

I carry my fathers obit in my wallet every day...every where I go. My Father bravely fought Cancer not once, not twice, but three times in 9 years. we all miss him terribly at times. Cancer is a horrendous Illness that we are all touched by. We all know people who went through it. One of the best things I did last year was my colour dash for Irish cancer Society. I still remember been overcome with emotion in NUIG afterwards cause of the sheer human power and spirit on display at that event.

My brother Ciarán Flood and I are intending to hike Slieve Donard weather dependant on Daffodil day for another step in my AWARE campaign in part and primarily on that day of days for Irish Cancer Society and raise funds for the incredible life saving work that they do.

I am inviting you all to join us (skilled mountaineers haha) on the day. If I get enough numbers before next week...I may book a mini bus with a fee required unfortunately. If not desirable though...I will also post directions on my hiking page. I would also appreciate but not at all compulsory a small donation for Irish Cancer Society on the day. Thank you guys. I hope some of you can join me and make a difference for the good on this special day...#father #charityclimb #aware #fightcancer #irishcancersociety #daffodilday #daffodilday2018 #Ireland #Down #slievedonard #hiking #climbing
