Catharine's Triple 8 Challenge · 21 June 2020

The Coronavirus pandemic has meant that the future for disabled people is even more challenging. We want to ensure we can continue to help provide new products and a range of services that bring greater independence.

Story

I started running 3 years ago, despite my advanced years! I currently run 6k on average - this will push me to run further than before, to support the many disabled people that my amazing charity help every day

I'm taking part in Designability's Triple8 Challenge to help them continue to create and provide products and services to disabled people across the UK. They products help to enable greater independence and choice in every day life.

Designability receives no statutory funding and the majority of the funds they need come from voluntary donations. If you want to find out more about their work visit https://designability.org.uk/become-a-fundraiser/the-triple8-challenge/

The Triple 8 Challenge represents the distance between the two furthest away Wizzybugs, a powered wheelchair for very young disabled children. Designability provides these on a free loan scheme to families across the UK and they need our help to continue providing services like this. Any donation no matter how big or small will make a huge difference
