I've previously run London Marathon and this year cycled RideLondon 100 miles.  I wanted to do something completely out of my comfort zone and have signed up to Swim Serpentine (2 miles) in September 2022.  To add to this I have also decided to put all three disciplines together and signed up to a local triathlon (also in September 2022).  

I can't swim front crawl and am trying to relearn from my last lessons as a child many years ago!  This challenge feels enormous compared to all the others I have undertaken over the past number of years and as a result I feel that raising money for this charity will help me on my way.  

The Greatest Need Appeal will direct funding towards areas where it is needed most on wards and in key clinical units and for the enhancement of the hospital environment and treatment facilities. 

As DCH continues to operate under immense pressures from the ongoing Covid pandemic, our patients and staff urgently need that extra support that only the Charity can provide to make care and caring that little bit more special for everyone. 

Dorset County Hospital is doing everything it can to rebuild its services but there are many challenges ahead. Our staff are working hard to overcome the impact of the pandemic on our services and with your help our Charity will continue to be there to give Dorset County Hospital as much support as possible. 

This appeal will target extra help wherever the need is greatest - and with your help we can directly improve the lives of our patients, their families, and our dedicated staff at Dorset County Hospital.
