As you may be aware I am traveling to South Africa in April to participate in a cross-cultural mission trip. I will be part of a small team from the SW London Vineyard Church working closely with the Kenilworth Vineyard Church, in Cape Town.  Two years ago I went on a simliar trip to help and know what a difference teams like this can make!

During my time in South Africa I will be involved with many different projects.  Kenilworth Vineyard is a church that aims to express the love of God to the people of Cape Town.  My team will be working with Kenilworth Vineyard’s staff, ministering to them and encouraging them in the work they are doing.  The church share Jesus with children affected by HIV and AIDs on a daily basis in the local Townships through Ikhaya Le Themba  (Home of Hope). This is where we will help them to run a children's Holiday Club. We will also be  assist with the church’s refugee ministry,  pray for people on the streets and participate in the life of the church.
