Story
The Bantham Swoosh is an amazing thing, and lots of people swam the Big Swoosh and the Mini Swoosh this year for Level Water... we loved being there - what a special event. I'm glad to attempt to raise a bit of money for the Level Water charity: they are fantastic and benefit children with disabilities so much.
Liam really enjoys his Level Water swimming lessons and has made so much progress in his confidence and swimming skills. I (Liam's mum!) have felt so much joy to see him having fun and achieving new things in the water. It took a long time for Liam to master putting his face in the water, but now surface-diving for sinking dive toys is a favourite thing, and his progress continues.
I've observed other children and their parents in their Level Water swimming lessons too, before and after Liam's lessons at the Aquatics Centre in Stratford, and I can see the effect is similar for all of us: a sense of relief and joy for the parents, and obvious enjoyment of the water and growing confidence for the children. It's just such a brilliant thing, and so worthy of support.
Please do make a donation to Level Water, for more and more children with disabilities to know the fun and freedom that they can experience in the water. Thank you!
