Swim Serpentine · 22 September 2018 ·
On the 22nd September, Mel and Catherine will be donning their wetsuits as they take part in Swim Serpentine - a two mile open water swim in Hyde Park's Serpentine lido - in order to raise money for our company's charity of the year: Age UK Camden.
Specifically, we will be raising money for Age UK Camden's dementia wellbeing and befriending specialist service, which offers skilled care to help those with dementia stay independent and in control of their lives.
Although Age UK Camden is affiliated to the national campaigning organisation, Age UK, it is a standalone charity and the boots on the ground delivering services each day that make a difference to older vulnerable people in the borough. Only 2% of its income is received from Age UK, the rest of the money it has to raise itself.
