We are there when it matters to support people through dying or grief.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 13 October, I am running the Oxford Half Marathon to raise money for Sue Ryder hospice care in memory of my school friend, Rich Garrett, who died in December last year from cancer.

Rich received wonderful care during the last few weeks of his life at St John's Hospice, Moggerhanger, and I'd like to raise some money, no matter how little, to support the wonderful work that Sue Ryder hospices do to support the patients in their care and their families.
I'd be very grateful for any donation that anyone feels able to give, no matter how small, but please don't feel obliged to give anything.

I am not aiming for a good time on 13th - it will just be good to make it round in one piece (!) - but I know that the positive and determined attitude that Rich displayed during his long illness will keep me going during the last few miles.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
