Spencer was diagnosed with Bowel cancer in November 2019 and lost his battle in May 2020 aged 52,  just weeks before birthday. The late diagnoses and ignoring previous signs and symptoms has lead to us losing him far to soon. We must talk more openly and be more aware of this cruel disease which can be brushed away as other medical conditions or affects of the life style we lead.

My nephew was also diagnosed with last stages of Bowel cancer last year only in his 30s and after 2 long operations, excellent surgeons and the care of Christies Manchester is making great progress. After a year and half, scans are positive -  long may that continue.

In Spencer's memory I hope together we can support Bowel Cancer UK who are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
