Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 9th Ocotober 2022, I am taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London. I am raising money for an amazing charity The Compassionate Friends, who are a charity supporting bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings after the death of a child.
Losing Noah in August 2019 was the worst experience for Luke, Phoebe and myself as well as my family.
The Compassionate Friends have become a huge source of support for me since I became physically unwell with the grief of losing Noah. Without the support of my local group in Swindon and the new friendships I have made (as well as the ongoing amazing people I have in my life prior to TCF) I wouldn’t be where I am now.
Running became an escape for me during lockdown and having completed 2 10km runs in 2018, I felt it was a good opportunity to train and get running again for this amazing cause.
I would be grateful for any donation at all you wish to make. I will be taking part with one of my closest friends Lindsay and my sister in law and Noah’s auntie Vicky.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your donation.
