The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From Mason aged 15,

Just over 18 months ago an amazing and influential lady was suddenly taken from her family, friends and pupils after suffering from a brain aneurism.

Donna George was my dance teacher, she taught me to dance from the age of 3. As a male dancer she pushed me to use my ability even though I frustrated her at times. She supported me in the challenges I faced as growing up as a boy who liked to dance. I have had many opportunities because of Donna and dance, including dancing in a music video for Armand Van Helden.

About 18 months ago she suddenly passed away after suffering an aneurism. It left our dance school/family devastated and heartbroken. But because we were a close dance school and with the help of Ken and Adele we have begun to mend and move forward.

Donna's husband Ken has set himself an awesome challenge, on the 13th and 14th June he is doing the 6 Peaks Challenge, the 3 National Peaks on the Saturday and the 3 Yorkshire Peaks on the Sunday, yes he's doing all 6 Peaks over 2 days. When Ken asked for support on the 3 Yorkshire Peaks I knew I wanted to do it.

So I am supporting Ken and supporting The Brain Research Trust by walking/running/climbing the 3Peaks in memory of Donna, so I would like you to support me by donating as much or as little as you can by sponsoring me for the challenge. Thanks, Mason x
