Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Pete and I are running the Trail Marathon Wales in memory of my Mum, Sandra, who passed away in October 2021, and Pete's Dad, Julian, who passed away in 1976, both from lung cancer. We have been training hard for the past six months with the aid of our coach, Chester the dog. The marathon is in Snowdonia and we will climb the height of 1122m (3681ft), which is higher than  Snowdon itself. This is not about getting a time; this is a challenge in memory of our loved ones  with the aim of raising money for the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping all those affected by this disease.
