As you know, I’ve been a member of the Rising Ground Associate Board since 2018.  Rising Ground is an award-winning social service organization providing essential services to 25,000 people across New York every day.  Rising Ground supports children, adults, and families that face the greatest adversities life has to offer. The Covid-19 pandemic and efforts to curb its impact add additional stress to all our lives, but especially to the people who count on Rising Ground -- the poor, single mothers, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, those living in our residential programs, and so many others.

Amid ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 virus, Rising Ground is facing major fiscal adversities challenges. We have unforeseen  expenses mounting and many sources of support are uncertain.  The difference will most likely not be covered by our government partners. 

I’m asking for your help today more than ever. I have created this special donation page in support of Rising Ground, and I am hoping that you will help me help them continue their mission.
