Story
As many of you will be aware Jess was diagnosed with TCell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in June 2020. To be honest, we hadn't heard of it either but it turned out that the lump that appeared in Jess' neck was actually a tumour into her chest. Thanks to the excellent work of all the staff at QMC Nottingham, treatment was started straight away and we are now a year into the 2 1/2 year plan!
During our time on E39 we have got to know Jo from PASIC and the work that her and the whole charity do to help families like ours. Whether it is having a drink made for you, giving you advice, sending activities for the whole family, organising outings or just a friendly wave across the corridor then PASIC are there!
I spoke to Jess about what she would like to do to say thank you and she wanted to use her re-kindled love for swimming!
Please help us to show our appreciation for PASIC as we swim our 10 miles! We will be really grateful for any donation you can give, no matter how big or small, to help them continue their work helping families in the East Midlands.who have received a cancer diagnosis.
PASIC cancer support for children and young people. We’re here for the whole family. Our vision is that no East Midlands family faces childhood cancer alone.
