An exciting virtual cycle/walk/run challenge this January to help feed South African children in need.

Story

Join me in helping to feed South African children in need by donating towards my January 170 mile cycling (peloton) challenge. Between Jan 1st and Jan 31st I will be completing the first leg (virtually) of the Garden Route Children’s Trust’s 2,300 mile Trek. The first leg is 170 miles from Knysna to Port Elizabeth.

Poverty and hunger were rife in South Africa , even before COVID 19 struck. It is now much worse. Pre-school children suffer most as poor nutrition affects both their mental and their physical development. But together we can make a difference. Participants will be virtually trekking 2,300 miles around South Africa, visiting all the Garden Route Children’s Trust projects - from Port Elizabeth in the south to Ermelo in the north. About £20 will feed a child with a bowl of fortified and enriched porridge for a whole school year.

With your generous help, we hope to feed even more hungry children going forward!

Thank you!
