I am a mum of 2 boys (moving into Year 1 and Year 4 in September) who attend Holbeach Primary School in Catford. I love this area and I feel very lucky to be at the heart of the chaos, life and energy that Catford gives us daily! 

I am running the Big Half to raise money to support the creation of a new before and after school club run as a charitable enterprise, called Holbeach Children's Club. HCC will offer will offer quality, affordable Ofsted registered wrap around care in Catford affiliated to Holbeach Primary School. 

Up to 40% of a child's day outside the home in spent in formal care settings before and after school. It has been shown that good quality wrap-around care is key for improving educational outcomes and reducing inequality. 

HCC is in need of some start up funding to secure a premises so they can help alleviate the significant unmet demand for these services in Catford.
