Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In memory of a beautiful, vibrant and inspirational 10 year old little girl, who became an angel last October due to Sepsis.
Her Mum has arranged this march to raise awareness of the effects of sepsis.
Maddie touched so many peoples lives in the short time that she was here, she will never be forgotten.
We are looking forward to walking with family and friends on the 12th of July.
