I have the privilege of working in the patient and family support team at the hospice. Right now we are supporting some of the most vulnerable patients with Covid-19 to give them the compassionate care they desperately need. Some of the symptoms are incredibly distressing and scary and our expert team of doctors, nurses and pastoral carers are best placed to help these patients with the critical care, medication and pain relief they need. Our counsellors will be on hand to provide emotional support for their families. We dont have the funding for the extra staff and equipment this care demands and we need your help.
