Event: Tinto Hill Climb, from 15 May 2023 to 25 May 2023
We are looking forward to welcoming around 4,000 S1 pupils to walking the heights of Lanarkshires most prominent hill Tinto. This is a great day out for pupils and staff fresh air, fun, exercise, team work and a sense of achievement!

Story

The St Andrew's Hospice Tinto Hill Climb is back for 2023! S1 CHS pupils will climb steep inclines and walk 4.5 miles during this event. They will be rewarded with great views when you get to the top, as well as a great sense of achievement that you've done something amazing for both yourself and St Andrews Hospice. By raising valuable sponsorship money, you are helping to provide vital care and support for patients and their families across Lanarkshire. This has been a successful event for S1 pupils at Cathkin High School for many years now and over the years, we raised over £22,000!

With last year, Cathkin High School raising a staggering £1,362 in 2022.

During the weeks leading up to the Tinto Hillwalk on Monday 22nd May 2023, all S1 pupils will be participating in lessons across their timetable connected to the event.
