Sepsis Facts

Every three heartbeats, someone dies of sepsis.

Sepsis is a public health issue which claims thousands of lives each year in Australia and the rest of the world.

Sepsis is a medical emergency, just like a stroke or acute coronary syndrome and can lead to shock, multiple organ failure and death.

My parent's friend Craig lost his wife and baby daughter as a result of sepsis.  

I am swimming in remembrance of them.
