I started volunteering at Under 1 Roof which is run by St Martins in November 2018. I have truly found it an eye opener. I have seen many people come to us who come from all walks of life. I have also learnt that anyone could become homeless due to situations which have been taken out of their hands. It has really made me more compassionate and more eager to help people take positive steps forward in their lives.
