Last year I got to know Donna, an awesome physiotherapist who treated my dog Sky over a period of a few weeks for a muscle injury. . 
Three years ago, Donna was diagnosed with breast cancer and was treated locally at the Rosemere Cancer Trust.  This year she's doing a Triathlon (with a difference!), raising money for the Rosemere Cancer Trust - giving  back to the charity that helped her and that help so many others diagnosed with cancer. 
 
I was inspired by Donna and her story and I've become part of her team doing the Ullswater SUPBIKERUN triathlon in September.  It's 3K SUP (stand up paddle board), 20km bike ride and 5km run. I've never done anything like this before !!! but over the last few weeks I've been having fun training with my team mates up here in the Lakes.

On the day of the event (11 Sept) we hope the weather will be kind but importantly  we aim to have fun and raise some funds for Rosemere.  If you'd like to help and are able to donate please follow the page and give what you can ....and if you're up in the Lakes on the day and would like to come and give us some support, that'd be great!
