Our friend Cathy passed away on Feb 16th 2014 from Melanoma Cancer.The treatment and care that Cathy and her family got from all the medical staff at the Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre was excellent throughout. We know that it would be Cathy's wish to help repay this help and kindness by helping to raise funds for families who also find themselves in a similar situation.The Cathy ar gcara fund will be helping to raise money and awareness for the charity "Friends of the Cancer Centre " based at the Belfast City Hospital who provide help in the following four areas all of which Cathy  availed of during her illness (cancer research,specialist clinical care,new equipment and family comfort).
