Story
Suffering from a brain tumour is something that nobody should have to go through but around 11,700 people are diagnosed every year. When my beautiful friend told me about her diagnosis and her story I was shocked and so sad for her but she has been the most brave person I have ever met and her strength is inspiring.
Whilst lockdown was an incredibly difficult time for us all, for my friend it was the biggest hurdle she will ever have to face. She faced time in hospital by herself, away from her family and friends but she tackled the situation head on with so much courage and determination and seeing her do so well now is all we could have ever asked for!!
She has since finished her radiotherapy treatment and is one step closer to kicking this tumours butt for good👊🏼 and we could not be prouder of her!!!
I am running this half marathon for Gee and for The Brain Tumour Charity, who is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. They are committed to saving and improving lives and are moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
Please join me in supporting this incredible charity! All donations are greatly appreciated❤️
