Rape Crisis England & Wales is the charity working to end sexual violence and abuse. We are the membership organisation for Rape Crisis Centres who deliver specialist services to those affected by sexual violence in England & Wales. Together we aim to educate, influence and make change.

Story

On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of July, I am cycling 100km and running 10km in aid of Rape Crisis. I'm cycling on the Saturday in a sportive in Milton Keynes and am running in The British 10km in London on the Sunday, by which time I am expecting my legs to be very unhappy!

Rape Crisis has 44 member organisations across England and Wales, and provides crucial support to survivors of sexual violence. 1 in 5 women aged 16-59 has been through some form of sexual violence, and there are roughly 11 rapes (of adults alone) every hour across England and Wales.

Alongside the support they provide to survivors, the charity raises awareness and understanding of sexual violence in the wider community and works tirelessly to challenge many of the common misconceptions surrounding cases of sexual assault.

Any donation, however small, will help towards raising vital funds to enable Rape Crisis to continue to help survivors and their families rebuild their lives.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this,

Catriona
