This Easter we are holding our very first online raffle live on Facebook! Please follow the steps below to join us, with all the money raised going to support our work, rescuing and rehoming stray, unwanted or homeless cats and educating people about cats and cat welfare.
Raffle ticket online sales close on 5th April 2021 at 5pm
Winning tickets will be drawn live on our Facebook page at the draw on 6th April 2021 at 3pm
Raffle prizes: Three luxury Easter hampers
The winners will need to be able to collect their prizes from Ferndown Homing Centre.
Important:
Simply make a donation of £2 per ticket or £10 for five tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket/ticket numbers into our raffle draw automatically and send you a digital ticket. You will receive an email if you are a winner.
Tickets cost £2 each. Every £2 donation = 1 entry
For example, a donation of £10 = 5 entries
Terms and conditions:
The draw will take place at Cats Protection - Ferndown Homing
Centre, 51 Cobham Rd, Ferndown Industrial Estate, Wimborne BH21 7QZ on 6th April 2021 at 3pm. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).

The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.
This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands). The winner will need to be able to collect their prize from Ferndown Homing Centre.
The cost of each ticket is £2.
Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded.
Tickets are not to be sold to or by any person under the age of 18 years old. If you suspect someone may be under the age of 18, then you should request proof of age. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.
Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.
Any money received after the closing date 5th April at 5pm including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.
Winners will be notified via email within three weeks of the draw. A list of winners will also be published on our website https://www.cats.org.uk/ferndown.
The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payment lost or delayed or tickets damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Please keep your ticket number as proof of purchase. If tickets are purchased via Just Giving then you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address. Any payments received where this box isn't ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received.
Participants purchasing tickets using Just Giving subject to terms and conditions will receive emailed ticket numbers within 72 hours.
The deadline for entries on the Just Giving site is 5th April at 5pm. To allow time for the entries to be processed.
Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner’s name and town for promotional purposes.
Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. Eg if you donate £2.80 you will only receive one entry into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.
Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
