Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. UPDATED:

On 26th February 2023, Caversham United’s Men’s Reserve team took on rivals Calcot FC in the John Lusted Cup semi final, with a place in the cup final on offer for the winner. It was a grudge match, as the Caversham United’s Men’s Reserve manager actually (re)joined The Goats from Calcot last summer, igniting a rivalry and making the semi final a real grudge match!

We won the game 6-1 and now face Richfield Rovers Vets in the Final, at The Rivermoor stadium (Reading City FC; Scours Lane) on Sunday 14 May 2023. Kick off is 11:00 and there is a small entry fee to the stadium.

Our aim is to draw in supporters from near and afar, with those nearby attending the game and those further away supporting via Twitter. We are asking our players and supporters to make a donation to Prostate Cancer UK as part of the big occasion.

We would truly love your support in pushing us towards our target of £1,000.00 for charity! 🐐
