The Central Risk Team will be completing numerous fundraising activities during the course of 2011 in aid of Save the Children; these include.
Ridgeway 40 hike 7th May (Complete). Leanne Powell, Kate Brown, Ali Chedzey and Dan Binks completed the 40 mile walk in one day along the ancient Ridgeway track between Overton Hill in Wiltshire and Streatley in Berkshire. We have the blisters as evidence!!! Also, please see the uploaded pictures.
Cheshire Breast Cancer Care Ribbon Walk - 4th June (Complete). Ali Chedzey achieved a personal best of walking 20 miles through the Cheshire countryside in 6 hours and 50 minutes! There were difficult conditions with it being a very hot day so well done Ali - photos will be added shortly.
Three Peaks 16 - 17 June (Complete). Dan Binks completed the three peaks challenge which involved walking up Ben Nevis in Scotland in glorious sunshine, however this was the up for the down which followed with miserable weather on Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. There were 60 colleagues from CB&P and Dan completed the event with his team in approximately 28 hours.
London Triathlon 30 - 31st July. Steve Fisher and Dan Binks will be competing in the London Triathlon with Steve participating in the 'Olympic' event and Dan in the 'Super Sprint'.
