The London Triathlon 2015 · 8 August 2015 to 9 August 2015 ·

The Rory Peck Trust provides practical & financial support to freelance journalists and their families worldwide, assisting in times of crisis and helping them work more safely and professionally. We do this through assistance grants, our training fund, and online resources, as well as our Awards.

Story

It’s been nine years since we said goodbye to Paul Douglas and James Brolan, cruelly cut down on a Baghdad street by a terrorist bomb. It’s been nine years when we’ve never forgotten them.  In this ninth year we will remember them by running, cycling and swimming in the London Triathlon in August.  CBS News London will enter nine teams who will swim 750m, cycle 20km and run 5k.  Our intent is to raise money for the Rory Peck Trust which is the only organization dedicated to the support, safety and welfare of freelancers around the world.  Your donations will inspire the unfit, rally the restless and support a great charity – please give generously. Thank you.
