Story
SHE works with girls in their communities in rural Zimbabwe to remove barriers to education.
Often girls in rural Zim follow a trend to leave school at just 12 years old due to cultural norms, economic needs of the family, a lack of funds available to pay for school, distance to school, health and many more reasons that with SHE’s support can be overcome. We began in November and started supporting our first cohort of 25 girls in January - all are benefitting hugely and achieving attendance beyond anyone’s expectations. We aim to add another 15 girls in 2022 and again in 2023.
