CCLL appeal to support families in Belarus in the time of Covid-19 · 10 May 2020

Chernobyl Children's Lifeline has rebranded as CCLL - The Helping Hand for Ukraine and we prioritize help for children and their families in the northern areas of the country who are suffering from the ongoing conflict. We carry out our work without any political affiliation or bias.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

While we appreciate that everyone is concerned with the safety and well being of their loved ones at this difficult time may I ask you to spare a thought for the families of Belarus ?

Normally at this time we would be planning this year’s respite break for a group of Chernobyl children who would be travelling to be with their host families in St Ives . Sadly they have all had to be disappointed  because of the pandemic .

We are delighted that we have completed phase one of the building work at project S.H.A.R.E. And that families with disabled children were able to use the accommodation last summer . they were really happy with the facilities and all want to return again .

We are now ready to move forward and start work on the main school building , adding a second storey and completely re roofing  the building .

You help in raising funds would be much appreciated . As children are unable to travel it is even  more important that we get on with this valuable respite centre

A heartfelt thank you to all of you who continue to support our work .
