On the 20th October 2019, the Coronary Care Unit will be taking part in a 17K walk of all three hospital sites in Leicester. Starting at the Glenfield Hospital, the home of CCU, we will then make our way to the Leicester Royal, then to the General Hospital and then back to the Glenfield Hospital. We are doing this in aid of the Cavell Nurse's Trust.

Cavell Nurses' Trust are here for UK Nurses, Midwives and HCAs, whether working or retired, with money and support when they are living through personal or financial hardship, often because of illness, domestic abuse, disability, working poverty and older age. Put simply, we’re ‘Here for Nurses’.
