Memory Walk 2018
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Staff and residents of Cedar Grange Care Centre and Woodlands Manor Care Home, as well as Head Office staff and Cedars Care Group Director, Sarah, and CEO Ty, will be taking part in Memory Walk on October 10th at 14:00. (Please ignore the event date above) Join us or show your support by donating!

Cedars Care Group runs seven boutique homes across the UK, offering nursing, dementia and elderly care. Our specialist carers provide personalised support and stimulating activities that enable each resident to lead a fulfilling life.

At Cedars Care Group, our homes are small and intimate. Many of our residents and their families describe them as, ‘a home away from home.’ That to us is testament that dementia, Alzheimer’s and old age need not be as bleak or frightening as it might initially feel.

We're taking part in Memory Walk on a bigger scale this year because we want to help Alzheimer’s Society transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we want to help create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
