Cedar Valley College Food Pantry

DCCCD Foundation Employee Giving · 31 December 2022 ·
Every day, students on our campus wonder where theywill find their next meal. In fact, 13 percent of community college studentsfaced food insecurity in 2015. At DCCCD, the numbers are even more bleak - 27percent reported "very low food security."
Food insecurity is thelimited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods, orthe ability to acquire such foods in a socially acceptable manner.
To address this issue, DCCCDrecently partnered with the North Texas Food Bank to make food available at allof our colleges.
This fundraising campaign, managed by the DCCCD Foundation, is dedicated to ensuring our pantries have theresources they need to feed our students throughout the year. To keep up withdemand and ensure the shelves are never empty, we need your help to stock thepantry!
