Last year, before the Olympics and Paralympics, my Dad had meticulously planned, and was looking forward to completing, a stunning bike ride through the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.  He died suddenly on 28 February.

A year on, we are going to cycle his exact 260 mile route, across 8 islands, raising money for the British Heart Foundation in the process.

We are covering all costs ourselves, so any donation you give will go 100% to charity.  Many of the people we are staying with knew Dad and have donated in his memory.  There will be a few glasses of whisky raised and much fun had as we remember a great man and explore the world he adored.
