A fun packed night to raise funds for ‘Habitat for Humanity’.
Karen and Ian have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for ‘Habitat for Humanity’. The work they do for local communities throughout the world is essential in providing thousands with safe and secure housing. They have built homes throughout the world from Africa to the UK.
With the disaster in Haiti, ‘Habitat for Humanity’ requires our support now more than ever. The work they carry out helps rebuild the lives and communities of people throughout the world and right now Haiti needs our help.
On the evening we have some fantastic prizes for our raffle thanks to the support and help of others. These include 2 tickets to see Paul McCartney at Hampden, signed football strips, golf lessons and a number of other fantastic prizes.
Our aim is to raise a total of £6000 and I can explain why that specific number. Did you know that it costs on average £1500 for Habitat to build a new home? By raising £6000, we can all help in building four new homes for those in desperate need.
This just giving page has been setup to buy tickets for this event; we also have a further sponsorship page for those who would like to help with any other support at www.justgiving.com/karen-ian1
Thanks for all the support and please join us on the 12th June @ St Andrews in the Square from 7:00 pm for the Ceilidh for Haiti.
