Royal Parks Half Marathon · 14 October 2018 ·

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

My girlfriend Kat (the sweaty mess on the left) suffers from Crohns Decease. It's an inflammatory bowel problem and a hidden disability, so whereas she appears to be a right cocky shit 24/7, her Crohns can often flare up and her confidence drops to the level of a normal human being. Whilst she manages it well, there are hundreds of thousands who can't, and for whom it makes life virtually impossible.

For the last two years, Kat has run the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money and awareness for other Crohns sufferers, but this year she can't as she's gone and injured herself like an idiot. So, I will be running it. Well, falling. Quickly. For the best part of two hours.

This will be my first ever half marathon. If you have anything you can spare, I would be delighted, thank you.
