Noahs 5 k run · 30 January 2022

In 2022 Propp will be supporting WellChild and their work helping seriously ill children across the UK. Propp staff be getting hands on with a garden transformation for Archie or taking on a challenge event to help raise vital funds for the charity.

Story

In exactly 61 days me and about 15 of us from Firmitas and
Propp will be attempting to complete the three peaks challenge in 24 hours…
This means (in case you weren’t aware) I wasn’t when I said yes!!) Flying to Scotland
and then climbing the HIGHEST mountain in the UK – Ben Nevis (Which was on the
news recently as an EXPERIENCED CLIMBER DIED and a whole group of 23 climbers
had to be rescued!) Then we get on a mini bus ( I get really travel sick unless
I’m driving by the way so this is terrifying me as much as the climbing!) and
drive to Scaffell Pike, (which is the highest mountain in England in Cumbria)  where we climb this one in the DARK for 4 hours
(like who climbs a mountain in the dark anyway?!!! ) Then we get on another
mini bus and climb Snowdon (which is the highest Mountain in Wales!) This has all
be done within 24 hours so a huge, huge challenge for a non- mountain climber
like me!

Whaatt??? I hear you cry. Why are you doing that?!! Why would
you who suffers from vertigo, travel sickness and the highest hill you’ve ever
climbed is Durdle door in Lulworth?!  Well,
other than wanting to really challenge myself with something that sounds sooo
hideous (but the views are meant to be breath-taking) I want to raise some
money for a charity called Wellchild. Wellchild charity was set up to ensure that
every child in the UK no matter what their situation, location or diagnosis has
the best quality of care. Hopefully by me putting myself through this I can
raise a bit of money for them to help some poorly children in the UK.

So, if you can spare a couple of £s please sponsor me…. I
better go out and buy myself some super sexy walking boots (and perhaps some of
those walking poles?!!! and start training!!!!!!!!! Arghgghgh
helppppppppp!!!!!!!!

Thank you sooooo much, expect to see lots of photos of me
really enjoying this challenge in 61 days xxxxxxxxx
