Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to do a Memory Walk and raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.

I will be walking 6.5km on Sunday 17th September and all in memory of my lovely Grandad. ❤

As many of you know, I lost my Grandad to Alzheimer's. I say 'lost' because there really is no other way to describe what this cruel disease does to people.

Grandad was one of the best human beings I have ever known! Kind, caring, patient and fun. I like to think that he'd find me doing a walk in his memory very amusing!

Our memories are what make us who we are so let's make new ones today, hold on to them and help those who are affected by dementia hold on to theirs too by funding research and finding a cure for tomorrow.

It was heartbreaking watching Grandad suffer. If the money I raise can go towards caring for another person like him, or their families who need support, I will be very happy! Ultimately it's about finding a cure so every penny counts. Thank you so very much. Xxx
