Story

On the 30th September Celso Fonseca will attempt to break the record for the most distance cycled in 6 hours, and he has chosen Ypeople as the charity he wishes to support during this challenge.

Ypeople are a charity who work to end homelessness, and support positive change in people's lives. We work across Scotland offering support, accommodation and mentoring.

Celso has first hand experience of what it's like to be homeless. Coming to the UK following a racially motivated assault he spent several months sleeping rough. He suffered PTSD from the assault, but now says cycling is "the most important thing in the universe".

We couldn't be more inspired by the journey Celso has made, and we are proud that he has generously chosen Ypeople to raise funds and awareness for.

Having broken 3 World Records in 2017 we have no doubt the Celso will smash this 6 hour record too.

The event will take place on the Maindy track in Cardiff. Send Celso your support by donating!
