We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Every five minutes, stroke destroys lives and the Stroke
Association helps to rebuild them. When stroke strikes, part of the brain shuts down. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough!
No doubt you may already know someone who has been affected by stroke.

In 2019 one of our UK colleagues suffered a severe stroke and is
still in the long process of recovery with the support of the Stroke
Association. So Team CEMEX undertook it’s inaugural fundraising cycle ride from London to Paris.

For 2020 the CEMEX Cycling Team have set their sights on a number
of cycling challenges between May & July 2020

Part I - Over the weekend of 9th & 10th May we will undertake the London Revolution. An incredible 155 mile, 360° loop around London landmarks combined with countryside riding around the South-East of England.

Part II - On Sunday 21st June 2020, the whole of the CEMEX Cycling
Team, together with some family and friends, (17 cyclists) will take part in the 100 mile Birmingham Velo.

Part III - From 3rd July 2020, 9 willing (or just mad) riders from
the CEMEX Cycling Team have decided to attempt the huge challenge of cycling approximately 350 miles from the CEMEX Head Office in Paris to the CEMEX Research facility in Switzerland in just 4 days however, there are some big hills / mountains some might say, in between so it really is un-chartered territory for the team.

All events will be in aid of the Stroke Association and we are looking for your donations to help raise as much money as possible to enable The Stroke Association to continue it’s amazing work.
