I will be running my FIRST EVER charity run! I'm raising money for the charity I work for and believe in, SAT-7. It broadcasts satellite TV and digital media 24/7 to 25 million people in the Middle East and North Africa, projecting programmes on discipleship, advocacy and education.

I was always interested in mission, whether it was Africa or Brazil, or even Europe, but I never paid much attention to the Middle East. I only ever saw bad things about it from the News, because that's all that was broadcast! 

I found myself in a job working for SAT-7 at just the right time, but I didn't know much about it. However, the more I work here, the more amazed I am about the impact SAT-7 is having on people in the Middle East and North Africa. I hear stories daily of the courageous people in the region who stand up for their beliefs with the help of SAT-7, and overcome imaginably difficult circumstances. SAT-7 makes a difference daily, with a constant message of hope, opportunity, and most of all, God's unconditional love. There are amazing things happening in the Middle East and North Africa, and SAT-7 is helping to make that happen. 

Please help me raise money for this incredibly humble charity as I 'run' a 10K in Kew Gardens.
