Instead of Wedding Presents
Since Adam and I have been living together for nearly 2 years we don't really need any wedding presents, so our alternative is to ask you to donate money to one of two charities that are close to our hearts.
Alzheimers Society
This charity is close to my heart because my Nana was diagnosed with alzheimers when I was a child. It started with small things like forgetting to put milk in tea or where her cup was kept, but later she didn't recognise her family or surroundings. She was blissfully unaware of her illness, but unfortunately it is mostly the family that suffers with alzheimers as they see the person they love decline. Any research to find a cure for this debilitating disease deserves all the help available.
How it works
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
