Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Hello Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page.

Sophie, Nicole, Emma, Ginia and Emily (and hopefully others!) are going to be doing the London Bridges Walk on 28th June, to raise money for the charity CRY.

Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD).

This cause means ever so much to us as a group of girls, as one of our best friends passed away suddenly just over a year ago. Ceri was the most beautiful, kind hearted friend anyone could have ever wished for. Her death shocked us to the core and now we want nothing more than to raise awareness and aid prevention.

If you could spare just a couple of pounds to push us closer to our goal, we would be SO grateful.

Also, if anyone would like to join us, please contact one of us! The more the merrier! :-)

Thank you so much everyone!

Soph, Nicole, Emma, Ginia and Emily
