Ceroc's Ceroc Sussex

Ceroc Sussex is raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

Ceroc Sussex · 24 August 2022

Ceroc are joining the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) in their movement against suicide, the cause of death for 125 people every week in the UK and the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.

Story

As part of Ceroc, we are supporting the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) who are taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling rubbish, standing up to stereotypes, and standing together to show life is always worth living. 125 lives are lost every week to suicide and 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this. CALM provoke conversation, run life-saving services and bring people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and don't die by suicide. Just £8 could answer a potentially life saving call or webchat. Help us save lives today!

To support this amazing charity and the good work they do, Ceroc Sussex is holding a 'Back to School' class night at our Horsham venue on Wednesday 31st August where all proceeds will be donated to CALM. There will be optional dressing up and a fun themed Intermediates class (Beginners class as normal). Join us at Broadbridge Heath Village Centre (RH12 3LY) for a fun night of dancing and raising money!

Donation buckets will be also available at our East Grinstead and Hove venues that week.
